Winter Weddings

Fall is in the air... which means that winter weddings are in the works! Thank you to all the ladies that visited our booth at the Fall Bridal Extravaganza at the Provo Convention Center, the new location was just fabulous. And as with every fair there comes one very special winner.

This time we went a little crazy and have decided to give away an entire Bridal Party Package, valued at over $300!
Our lucky winner is:

Michelle Vergara

Congratulations and good luck with all of you wedding planning hope this will help!

I loved hearing about everybody's inspiration for their weddings, everything from the classic winter palette to the soft creams we've been loving. One of my favorites is the rustic and woodsy look and I thought I'd leave you with a little inspiration.

Here is Gracie's wedding:
We used a wide array of deep colors to achieve this look. From the deep plum in the wild flowers to the mustard in the billy balls. We incorporated burlap and wooden accents to make it rustic. We really wanted it to look like we had gone into the forest and picked the flowers from a meadow.
Hope you enjoy!

White Hot

Today we feature Jenna's wedding which was all-white, my absolute favorite to do! I love all-white palettes because of the challenge, you have one single color to really make a stunning arrangement, theres no hiding behind large hot-pink flowers! White can be so timeless and elegant, and that's definitely the look Jenna was going for, she is soooo classy I love it! We added some luxe accents by spraying some branches gold to take it up a notch, also we hung crystals from just about everywhere to give it that little bit of magic and sparkle. I really loved it I hope you do too!

Vintage Chic

Taelor's Wedding...
I loved working on Taelor's wedding, she gave me a lot of freedom to design and I think it turned out beautiful. She wanted to go for a vintage feel, which went great with the antique milkglass that was handed down from her grandmother, we paired that with soft tones of lavendar and blue flowers to give it a pop of color. The location was great and went with the whole vintage feel, it was at This Is The Place Heritage Park in one of the period homes. It all turned out lovely and was just a pleasure to arrange!
One of my Favorites!!!

European Elegance

Today we feature Devri's Wedding...
Devri was just a pleasure to work with, she has impeccable taste and her vision for her flowers was stunningly beautiful, I'm so glad I was able to make her wedding day vision come true!
We chose to use some soft shades of pink matched with bright yellow and a fun peach, we finished it off with lots of greens and hanging amaranthus to give that truly romantic, european feel.
I think it turned out lovely!

Pink Peonies

So I've recently been getting some slack from friends and family about not posting regularly to update you on my current projects, I've been swamped with some very labor-intense weddings (not complaining, just needed to recoup)
So this week I'll be doing a daily post to show you what I've been working on, I've had the pleasure of designing some truly amazing weddings!

Today we feature: Rebekah, whose pink peonies were just a dream come true for me!

Wedding Fairs, You Will be Missed!

What a whirlwind couple of months it has been, getting ready for the 2012 wedding season! With the South Towne Wedding fair we bid goodbye to this years rounds of wedding fairs. We had a great response thanks to all the wonderful girls that stopped by to chat, I really love the fairs and the opportunity it gives me to meet so many wonderful brides. I'm sad at the closing of the season but our calendar is booked so I'm also grateful!
Thank you to all of the brides that loved our work and booked with us, we are so excited to work with all of you!

As always we have a winner and this time it is...
Michelle Hurdle
Congratulations on winning $200 towards the purchase of a Bridal Package!

I was inspired by these green roses at the flower mart and just had to work with them, not my usual look but I wanted to try something different! I love the fresh clean feel of them! I've been asked lately for some examples of what things would cost so I've attached prices to some of the pictures.
Some pictures from the show...
The shorter ones are a good example of a $50 centerpiece
The taller ones would be about $75

I had to try these flower cones I thought they added a fun, casual touch (about $20 each)

And this was a fun example of what a sign in table arrangement could look like (about $40)
